Fintech has helped fine-tune my skillset

My previous career working in banking and relationship management is where I honed my instincts to think holistically about financial products, focus on the needs and motivations of the consumer, and the importance of jargon-free copy.

As a proud content conspirator (at least that’s what I like to call myself), I started my career writing educational content for a fintech life insurance startup. My goal was to create content that was both delightful and digestible for our users. I did this in the form of short and long-form blogs, email campaigns, pamphlets, and gamified experiences.

Marketing masterpieces happen — often

I have deepened my content experience working for a fintech personal finance app as a content strategist and copywriter. I currently write short and long-form blogs, marketing microcopy, social posts, email campaigns, product copy, and much more. You can find me at my standing desk, AirPods on, jamming through my next creative masterpiece. Yes, I said masterpiece.

It’s all about the benefits, baby

Details like voice and tone are always top of mind while establishing context to best communicate a benefit to users. Once a person understands the benefit of a product or service, conversions begin. I am constantly looking through the lens of the consumer to consider what people see first, during, and after a user experience. This helps me create content that meets consumers where they are and leads them to where they want to be. Let’s go there together.
