I am originally from Holland. That’s Holland, Michigan, not the Netherlands, but that would’ve been cool.

I attended Western Michigan University where I obtained a double major in Marketing and Spanish Language, with a minor in General Business. After graduating, I made a drastic decision and moved to Houston, Texas. That’s where I started my career in Financial Services.

I have worked in many different areas of this industry, including operations, relationship management, wealth management, private banking, marketing, and communications. I even decided to further my education and acquired my FINRA Series 7, 6, 63, 66, and Group One Life Insurance Licenses.  I also completed the Financial Planning program at Rice University.

Because my career includes both the sales and marketing side of the Financial Services Industry, I know the importance of collaboration between the two. I am passionate about making marketing and communication vehicles that best communicate a brand’s message to their audience, from strategic content development through measuring and tracking of success. For a few examples of my previous marketing projects, please check out my portfolio.

In 2018, I moved to San Francisco, CA to pursue a career in FinTech, which combines my love for the financial services industry and modern technology. When I am not working on creative marketing strategies, I enjoy dedicating my time to volunteering for my local Human Rights Campaign chapter, exploring all that the Bay Area has to offer, or drinking coffee at one of the many local cafes.
